Product Overview
The F-tone Network RJ Optical transceiver module is a high performance integrated duplex data link for bi-directional communication over multimode optical fiber. The RJ Optical transceiver is specifically designed for high speed data links up to 200M Baud. The F-tone RJ Optical transceiver offers the functionality of the common Small Form Factor transceiver albeit in a much smaller package. This optoelectronic transceiver module is a Class 1 Laser product compliant with FDA Radiation Performance Standards, 21 CFR Subchapter J. This component is also Class 1 Laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-825-1/EN 60825. The RJ Optical transceiver module is provided with the 1310nm LED which provides highly reliable communications in excess of 2Km.

F-tone推出符合InfiniBand标准的RJ形式的2.5G收发一体模块。新产品包括单端口和4端口两种形式，采用双LC光接口，850nm下传输250米， 1310nm下传输10公里。在整个-40到85摄氏度下的Telcordia可靠性测试范围内都可以保证足够低的抖动特性。
　　F-tone唯一提供此类RJ形式的光模块。F-tone原来有各种各样的100M到1000M的产品，现在推出的是2.5G的模块。乍一看RJ形式的光模块很容易让我们想起路由器交换机常用的RJ45接口。
所谓的RJ形式与RJ45接口并没有直接关系，只是在封装形式上具有一样的外观，可以直接利用原来采用RJ45接口的交换机的安装位置直接提供光口。光连接器形式还是LC。另外值得指出的是该模块采用了LVPECL电接口，管脚形式为SFF模块的2X5。在目前光模块的各种封装标准中，RJ光模块可以说是独树一帜。其产生的根源无非是替代路由器，交换机中原来的RJ45接口。应该承认这样的想法对设备厂商来说是很有吸引力的，无需改动旧设备的电路板就可以实现光接口。而且这样的光模块采用双LC光接口，结构小巧，符合现代设备发展的潮流。
