Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) allows carriers to reconfigure networks remotely from the central office to dynamically allocate bandwidth and services as needs from subscribers change. This greatly reduces the number of OEO conversions that are required and can reduce system cost.
F-tone’PLC-based 40CH ROADM provides complete passive functionality and all electronics are integrated in the same module with high speed command interface. It is applicable to metro core and regional networks, as well as CATV and enterprise networks.
